Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has recently revealed his favourite goal he scored for the Blues, which must have been a tough task given there’s 211 to choose from.
Lampard has very much cemented his status as a legend at Stamford Bridge given his contribution to the club both as a player and manager.
The midfielder is the highest scorer in Chelsea’s history and has given Blues fans plenty of memories which will no doubt last a life time.
There’s so many brilliant Lampard moments and he’s scored so many incredible goals over the years, but in a recent interview he named his second goal against Bolton back in 2005 to give Chelsea a first league title in 50 years as his favourite.
“Probably because it was our first Premier League title win as a group, Chelsea’s first for 50 years, that goal is definitely my goosebump moment,” he told the Premier League’s official YouTube channel.
Lampard is the top scorer in Chelsea’s history.
“I watch that back more than probably any other goal. It’s the one that gets me now, even years later.”
It was a huge moment in Chelsea’s history and was the start of a glittering period in the club’s history which saw them win multiple league titles as well as many other trophies.
It’s not only as a player Lampard had an impact, he’s also had two separate spells as manager including one as interim boss at the end of the disastrous 2022/2023 campaign.
Lampard has been spotted at Stamford Bridge watching Chelsea on occasion since he left the club at the end of that season, and recently praised Pedro Neto for his form.

However, there’s every chance he could find himself back in management very soon, as he’s one of the favourites for the Coventry City job.
If Lampard does get the job theres’s a chance a number of Chelsea’s youngsters could head there on loan given his connections with the Blues, as was the case when he took charge at Derby County.
