According to Diario Do Peixe, N Sports and the CBF have agreed a deal to broadcast the Brasileirão Feminino A-1, with the channel to show two matches per round.
The broadcaster will also carry the Copa do Brasil Feminina, the Libertadores Feminina and this year's World Cup.
Co-CEO André Barros said the team are elated, adding that recent coverage shows N Sports is a committed home for the women’s game and that the CBF’s professional approach gives confidence to keep investing.
Santos open against Grêmio on Monday 16 at 19:00 at Vila Belmiro, with N Sports broadcasting. The league has detailed the first 10 rounds and the rights holder already has five Santos fixtures.
The competition features 18 clubs in a single round robin over 17 rounds, with the top eight advancing to the two-legged quarter-finals. Base dates are 30 August and 6 September for the quarters, 13 and 20 September for the semis, and 27 September and 4 October for the final. Two clubs will go down to Série A2.
Each club receives a fixed R$ 720,000 in the first phase, plus R$ 20,000 for every nationally televised first-pick match. Prize money is R$ 2 million for the champions and R$ 1 million for the runners-up. From 2027 the CBF will require all players to hold professional contracts.
The CBF will ensure every match is broadcast and provide performance analysis tools. It will also allow lactating players to travel with their children, with costs covered by the federation.
