NAC Breda have reached an agreement with Sparta Rotterdam for Mohamed Nassoh. As per reports from VI’s Joost Blaauwhof, the 22-year-old attacking midfielder will undergo a medical on Wednesday and will board a plane to England with his new teammates later this week.
NAC had been pursuing the signing of Nassoh for a while, with Sparta proving to be difficult negotiators. At one point, this even led to a two-week standstill in talks. Peter Maas reportedly picked things up again this week. The technical director had his sights set on Nassoh’s arrival and pressed Sparta for an answer. They will now retain a transfer fee of around €350,000 from the player’s sale.
Nassoh will sign a four-year contract at NAC. The attacking midfielder will become the club’s sixth summer signing, following Juho Talvitie, Rio Hillen, Moussa Soumano, Brahim Ghalidi, and Charles-Andreas Brym.
The club are reportedly not done yet, as they continue their search for another midfielder, a left-back, and a striker, who all must be ready immediately.
