Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann spoke highly of Vincent Kompany ahead of the much-anticipated Klassiker against Borussia Dortmund, emphasizing the Belgian’s calm presence and positive influence on players.

“Kompany has a very calming presence and is a super pleasant colleague,” Nagelsmann said. “He steps in front of the team and gives them confidence. The team looks happy and they have fun on and off the pitch.”

Nagelsmann also highlighted their professional relationship off the pitch: “The conversations between us are always very valuable, full of information, and enjoyable. We're talking about the German players mostly and if they need any rest periods in between international breaks.”
