Nahuel Molina leaves Atlético de Madrid to join Roma until 2030

After four seasons at Atlético de Madrid, Argentina right back Nahuel Molina has joined Roma on a contract to 2030. The Italian club paid €13 million, excluding bonuses.

Atlético de Madrid confirmed his departure on Wednesday. He will wear number 20 and joins Santiago Castro among Roma’s summer recruits.

The move returns Molina to Italy, where he played for Udinese between 2020 and 2022. He made 68 appearances for the Friuli side, scoring 10 goals and supplying 10 assists.

With the Colchoneros, he featured in 181 matches, registering nine goals and 17 assists before leaving Madrid.

With Argentina, he has won the 2022 World Cup, the 2022 Finalissima and the 2024 Copa America.
