Nantes reach agreement to loan Rémy Cabella | OneFootball

As previously reported by Ouest-France, FC Nantes have an agreement in place with Rémy Cabella (35) over a January move. Presse Océan now understands that there is now an agreement in place between Les Canaris and Cabella’s current club, Olympiakos.

Cabella has 330 appearances in Ligue 1 to his name, but when he left LOSC upon the expiry of his contract, he was not expected to add to that figure. However, the Frenchman has been used sparingly by Olympiakos since signing a two-year deal in the summer. The forward has not been included in the club’s UEFA Champions League squad, and he has only played seven matches for the Greek club. 

Having reached an agreement with relegation-threatened Nantes, the two clubs have now reached an agreement over a six-month loan deal. Les Canaris will hope that the former Lille OSC forward will help drag the club out of relegation trouble in the second-half of the Ligue 1 campaign.
