Napoli are negotiating with Chelsea over a deal for Benoît Badiashile (25), with the Italian side looking to finalise an initial loan move for the French defender. According to Sky Sports, the Naples outfit want the agreement to include an option to buy Badiashile permanently at the end of the loan spell.

The Serie A side value the 25-year-old at around €20m and are prepared to pay a €3m loan fee as part of the proposed deal. The Blues, however, place a significantly higher valuation on the centre-back, valuing him at around €30m. Negotiations between the two clubs remain ongoing, with no definitive agreement reached at this stage.

Badiashile to leave Chelsea after difficult spell

The 25-year-old joined Chelsea from Monaco in January 2023 and has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter at Stamford Bridge. The France international has made 75 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions, but could now be set for a move to Italy as Napoli look to reinforce their defence.
