Struggling Serie A champions Napoli have been linked with a move for Bournemouth’s Hamed Traore and they are making quick progress on the player.
It was reported earlier today that Napoli have made contact for the ex-Sassuolo man and contacts with Bournemouth had intensified. CalcioNapoli24 have now stated that the move is quickly making progress.
Napoli seem likely to sign the winger on an initial loan deal of 18 months and they will have the option of signing him permanently at the end of that. While the option to buy hasn’t been confirmed but it seems likely. Napoli believe that Traore could be a replacement for Eljif Elmas in the number ten spot and will also add depth wide, as Elmas had also operated as a back-up to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Milan and Roma were also interested in the player, but it seems as if the Partenopei are set to win the race for the 23-year-old.
