Napoli have registered their interest in signing Juventus midfielder Fabio Miretti, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The reigning Serie A champions have acquired Kevin De Bruyne, Noa Lang, Lorenzo Lucca and Sam Beukema this summer.

With Frank Zambo Anguissa attracting interest from Chelsea, the Partenopei are eyeing more midfield reinforcements.

Miretti has caught Napoli’s attention following his impressive loan stint at Genoa.

Despite showing great promise in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons, Miretti failed to earn a prominent place in Juve’s squad.

However, he showcased his talent with Genoa last term, bagging three goals and three assists in 25 appearances.

Miretti could be on the move again this summer after learning that he is not in Juve manager Igor Tudor’s plans.

With the Bianconeri targeting high-profile midfielders such as Sporting CP’s Morten Hjulmand, Miretti could struggle for game time if he stays in Turin this season.

Napoli are ready to sign Juventus academy graduate, but are baulking at the €25-30 million asking price.

A move to Napoli would boost Miretti’s chances of returning to the Italian national team.

Miretti missed the recent European Under-21 Championship for the Azzurri due to a shoulder injury.

Napoli are also targeting a new winger, having already spent €28 million for Lang.

They have submitted a fresh proposal for Bologna’s Dan Ndoye, but Nottingham Forest are leading the race to sign him.

Liverpool’s Federico Chiesa and Manchester City’s Jack Grealish have also been linked with a move to Napoli.
