Serie A giants Napoli are now pushing in a move for Bologna’s Dan Ndoye as they look to beat Nottingham Forest in the race.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported Napoli want to strengthen their squad further and are now working on a new move for the Switzerland international. He is now their real priority for the month of July.
Their initial offer was rejected by Bologna but another attempt is on the way. Napoli have other options on the table as well, with Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling now on the shortlist. Armand Lauriente, whose move to Sunderland failed, has also emerged as a target.
Nottingham Forest’s initial bid was rejected earlier this week and Napoli had previously stalled in their move. As Victor Osimhen now edges close to an exit from the Partenopei, funds from his exit can help Napoli make a major move, with the Rossoblu demanding close to €50 million from his sale.
