Jess Naz is part of the England senior squad that travelled to Netherlands on Monday (1 July) as preparations begin for the final two games of their UEFA EURO 2025 qualifying campaign.

The 23-year-old has been named as one of the two standby players for the latest international window and will join the preparation camp, which includes a behind-closed-doors fixture against the Dutch on Thursday (4 July), with the Lionesses looking to book their place in next summer’s European Championship in Switzerland.

England sit third in their qualifying group with seven points, behind second-placed Sweden on goal difference while France leads the way on nine points.

The top two of each group will automatically qualify for next summer’s tournament, with England needing victories over both Republic of Ireland and Sweden to secure their spot.

Sarina Wiegman’s side will welcome Republic of Ireland to Norwich City’s Carrow Road on Friday 12 July (8pm) in the penultimate game of their qualifiers before concluding the group with a trip to take on Sweden on Tuesday 16 July (6pm UK).

Jess received her maiden call-up to the Lionesses back in May as a standby player in the last international window and, after impressing in training and Lauren James withdrawal through injury, she was promoted to the full set-up for the first time.

Our number seven went on to be named in matchday squad in the two fixtures against France, but was an unused substitute in the double-header.

Full details of all our international call-ups will be confirmed next week ahead of the start of the latest women’s international window.
