Nazariy Rusyn has addressed talk of a move from Sunderland and says he is preparing to return to England.
He spent the second half of last season at Arka Gdynia in Poland, scoring four goals. According to Sunderland Echo, reports in Ukraine have linked him with FC Karpaty Lviv. Sport.ua claimed a fee had been agreed and a deal could be done within days.
“I don’t know. I don’t deal with this issue, so I can’t say anything specific right now. I’m currently waiting for the end of my contract with Arka, which ends on June 30.” he told Ukrainian Football.
“Nothing is known. My agent is talking to Sunderland. I don’t have any specific information yet.”
“Yes, of course. I don’t rule it out.”
“The main thing for me now is to fly to England. We’ve applied for visas for my children, and we’ll see how everything goes there. But there is a high probability that I will stay in England for a year and complete my contract with Sunderland until the end.”
