Roma’s season concluded with a 2-0 victory in Verona, bringing the Giallorossi back to the Champions League after a seven-year wait.
The final push of the season proved decisive, with the Roman side securing five consecutive victories against Bologna, Fiorentina, Parma, Lazio, and Verona.
Among the stars of this year’s campaign was Evan Ndicka: the Ivorian defender, in a post on his Instagram account, thanked his teammates and fans for their dedication during this difficult season.
“This season has given us unique emotions, great lessons, and memories that we will always carry with us. We are proud of the journey we’ve made together and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your constant support,” said the Ivory Coast defender, who was injured in the Roma derby and will likely miss his country’s first World Cup matches.
