Negotiations underway between Napoli and Bologna for Sam Beukema | OneFootball

Serie A side Bologna send a counteroffer to Napoli in negotiations for Sam Beukema.

According to transfer market expert Ciro Venerato of RAI News 24 (via Calcio Napoli 24), negotiations between Bologna and Napoli have reached a decisive stage. The Rossoblu have asked Napoli to increase their fixed base transfer fee to just over €30 million, and to insert easier bonuses like a top-four finish in the league and a certain minimum number of appearances for the defender.

Napoli found it tough to break into negotiations with Bologna since the Emilia-Romagna-based club were reluctant to sell Beukema initially. However, things changed quickly when Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna secured the green light from the player.

Bologna have asked the Partenopei not to add players like Alessandro Zanoli since they are unsure of giving them enough game time right now.

Beukema’s entourage is expected to be pressuring the Bologna management to agree on a deal with Napoli soon.
