Nehuén Pérez finished Porto’s Friday training visibly exhausted, yet cast the heavy workload as the price of future celebration.

According to O Jogo, the Argentine centre-back looked shattered by the end but was not discouraged.

He said the session was very hard, arguing that the benefits would only be seen later.

He added that the squad have to suffer now so they can celebrate afterwards.
