Neil Lennon described the 3-0 home win over Hibernian as Celtic’s “best performance” of the season so far.
Callum McGregor gave the Bhoys the lead with a low driven shot in the seventh minute, and Albian Ajeti doubled the hosts’ advantage by latching onto a rebound eight minutes before the break.
The three points were wrapped up when Mohamed Elyounoussi netted late on.
“That’s our best performance of the season and I think it’s one of the best in my time here as manager, whether that be in my first spell or back again for my second,” manager Lennon told Celtic TV after the game at Parkhead.
“I thought it was breathtaking. I thought the football we played was outstanding against a very good side who have come here full of confidence.
“I thought we were absolutely magnificent in all departments, so I’m very happy.”
Ryan Christie was forced off at half time, but Lennon expects the “winded” midfielder to be fit for Thursday’s Europa League play-off at Sarajevo.
Ajeti, however, pulled his hamstring in the process of scoring against Hibs and is likely to sidelined for a “couple of weeks”, according to Lennon.
