Neo Química Arena is expected to install water fountains in the North and South sectors for the rest of 2026. Work is due to finish before Corinthians' first home game of the second half, with the units planned to be available from the match against Remo in the Campeonato Brasileiro on 23 this month.

According to Meu Timao, the infrastructure needed for installation is ready, and only the machines must arrive to complete the job. The project is at an advanced stage but not yet finished, and the exact number of fountains has not been confirmed. The remaining equipment is expected next week.

The plan answers a long-standing demand from Corinthians supporters, reinforced in January by a request from the Arquibancada 85 slate. The group criticised the lack of fountains on social media after a public address message urged fans to stay hydrated during the win over Ponte Preta in the Campeonato Paulista, the club's first 2026 game at Neo Química Arena.

That fixture kicked off in 33ºC heat. Fans reported difficulty staying hydrated and protested against cups of mineral water priced at R$ 8,00.

Arquibancada 85 said it had pressed the board in several meetings for fountains in every sector, citing families who face the cost of water for all. At the time, Corinthians said it was aware of the complaints and was studying solutions for how water is sold and distributed at the stadium.
