Neom move for Amir Richardson as Nice remain his priority

According to L'Équipe, Neom have joined the chase for Fiorentina midfielder Amir Richardson, even though the Moroccan has publicly prioritised a move to Nice. He is contracted to Fiorentina until June 2029.

Nice began their pursuit over the Christmas break and remain in pole from the player's perspective, given it is his hometown club where he came through the academy.

Seeking to grow more competitive domestically, the Saudi side focused on France last summer, recruiting Marcin Bulka from Nice as well as Lyon pair Alexandre Lacazette and Saïd Benrahma.

Neom also targeted prospects Nathan Zézé of Nantes and Saïmon Bouabré of Monaco, and see 23-year-old Richardson as a similarly attractive profile.

For now, Nice have made contact with Fiorentina, but a loan framework still needs to be agreed.
