According to L'Équipe, Netflix has set 13 May for the release of its documentary on the Knysna scandal, titled Le bus, les Bleus en grève.

The platform first announced the project in late January 2025. Netflix trails it as a look at one of the biggest scandals in French football, aligning with last year's plan to develop French sports scandal stories.

Those interviewed include then captain Patrice Evra, former France manager Raymond Domenech and defender William Gallas.

In January 2025, Pauline Dauvin, head of content at Netflix France, said the affair was a national drama and that, for the first time, the protagonists would give their version of events.

The film is positioned as a news-led account rather than an immersive behind-the-scenes piece.
