Canada and Iceland played out a goalless draw in Spain, while the Spanish themselves were very dominant in a 5-0 victory over South Korea in which Clàudia Pina, Amaiur Sarriegi and Aitana Bonmatí netted in the first half, Vicky López adding a double.

China led in the Netherlands with Jin Kun’s first-half finish but the hosts hit back dramatically with four goals in the last quarter of the match. Wieke Kaptein equalised after 66 minutes, Jill Roord, Lineth Beerensteyn and Esme Brugts also finding the net for the Dutch.

Khadija Shaw bagged a second-half brace as Jamaica were 3-0 winners against South Africa, the scoring having been opened by Siobhan Wilson.

Germany broke the deadlock in Switzerland through Sjoekje Nüsken close to half time but were 4-0 up by the 64th minute, as Laura Freigang struck twice and Lea Schüller scored in-between. Cora Zicai got the fifth, Schüller later getting her second of the game.
