Chelsea in for a new centre back

The centre back position will be a big priority for Chelsea in the coming summer transfer market as well as other positions of course.

They have been linked with a number of different potential names to come in, but there is a relatively new name mentioned this week via the French media.

The latest name to be linked that we haven’t heard much on is Tomás Araújo of Benfica.

The 23-year-old is a target for Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Liverpool, according to a report from Foot Mercato.

However, the Benfica defender would not come cheap. With a contract running until 2029, he has a release clause valued at €80m.
