The New England Revolution have bought out the contract of goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik after acquiring him during the 2023 MLS season. The 34 year old Czech international keeper signed with the Revs in the summer of 2023, but failed to make an appearance for the club. Vaclik was seemingly brought in to be the replacement goalkeeper for Djordje Petrovic who was sold to Chelsea FC last summer. For whatever happened… the veteran shot stopper failed to get any opportunities in New England and will move on to the next spot in his career. This move almost surely confirms that new Revs goalkeeper Henrich Ravas will be the starter heading into 2024. To learn more about Ravas, check out one of our previous posts here.
