Clubs are constantly coming up with creative ways to unveil their new signings on social media, but it could be a while before we see anything like this one again.

Major League Soccer outfit Chicago Fire completed the signing of Slovenian international striker Robert Berić on Saturday.

And to announce the new boyā€™s arrival in the Windy City, they made him down a shot of liquor on camera.

The liquor in question is Jeppsonā€™s Malƶrt ā€“ a popular beverage in Chicago which is notorious for being disgustingly hard to drink.

But Berić ā€“ who joins the club from Saint-Ɖtienne ā€“ appeared to have no trouble getting it down his neck.

If heā€™s as good at scoring goals as he is drinking, the Fire might have made one hell of a signing.
