Pafos have made unwanted history in the Champions League on Tuesday.
More specifically, it is defender João Correia who has done so.
His side were making one of the longest journeys it is possible to make in the competition for the early kick-off when they travelled to Kazakhstan to take on Kairat Almaty.
But for Correia, he might as well have stayed home as with just over three minutes played (3:03), he was shown his marching orders with a straight red card for a very high boot.
And in doing so he saw himself become the recipient of the quickest red card in competition history.
It sees him break the previous (unwanted) record which was held by Shakhtar Donetsk's Oleksandr Kucher when he was dismissed against Bayern Munich with just 3:59 on the clock in 2015.
That is a long way to travel for a couple of minutes of work!
