The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust have issued a statement confirming they’ve made contact with the club regarding the controversy surrounding the cost of matchday tickets for the upcoming Bradford City clash.

The Owls are under new ownership after Arise Capital completed their takeover of the club at the beginning of May.

And while things have gotten off to a bright start off the pitch, fans voiced their frustrations with the announcement of the ticket prices for the game at home to the Bantams.

Graham Alexander’s side will be the first visitors to Hillsborough of the new campaign, with the two teams set to meet on 20 August in an 8pm kick-off.

Henrik Pedersen will be looking to oversee a return to competitiveness this season after the club suffered relegation in 2025/26.

It was announced by Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday morning that adult tickets will cost between £34 and 46 for non-members for the clash against Bradford.

Members will have to pay £38 to get into the grandstand and the north stand, while the south stand will cost £43, while fans will be charged £31 for tickets in the Kop stand.

There is a lot of excitement surrounding the Owls at the moment due to their new owners taking the club out of administration, with a significant number of first team signings following this summer.
