Al-Hilal are reassessing their goalkeeping options before the new season after signing Saudi international Mohammed Al-Owais, who featured at the 2026 World Cup. The activity has increased uncertainty around Morocco international Yassine Bounou, who is reportedly close to departing.
Meczyki reports that Al-Hilal have opened talks with Poland goalkeeper Marcin Bulka, currently of Neom, over a summer move.
Bulka joined Neom last summer on a contract running to 2029, earning nearly 10 million euros a year. He then suffered a serious knee injury that sidelined him for most of the campaign, returning only for the final six matches.
Foot Mercato claims Bulka is very close to Al-Hilal, with discussions accelerating in recent hours, and says an agreement looks more likely if final details are settled in the coming days.
Aged 26, Bulka came through the Chelsea academy and previously impressed at Nice.
The Saudi Pro League season starts on 13 August, and the summer transfer window is open until 6 September.
