Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus has only played four matches for the club in 2025 so far, having suffered an ACL injury on January 12th in an FA Cup match against Manchester United.
It’s been a long road to recovery since then, and there’s still a while to go, but Jesus shared an encouraging update on social media on Wednesday night, showing him taking part in shooting drills at London Colney.

The footage shows Jesus scoring goal after goal in an individual training session, seemingly moving freely as he turns, runs, and jumps, which will be very encouraging for Arsenal fans to see.

It’s worth mentioning that Jesus spoke just this week about needing to avoid doing too much too soon, saying:
“Now I’m at the stage where I need to hold myself back a little bit, because I’m doing great work outside on the pitches, but it’s tricky because I need to not rush myself too hard over the line.
“When you can see the end, it’s important you don’t push too hard, keep my feet on the floor, and then as soon as the time comes, I will be ready.”
But the striker also said his knee is responding very well, and he’s “feeling great”, so everyone around the club will hope he can be back in action before too long.

The most recent reports have suggested Jesus is now targeting a return to full training and potential first-team action by December, rather than the initial planned return date in early 2026.
The striker has reportedly impressed Arsenal’s medical staff with his determination to make his comeback, and that hard work seems to be paying off now.
