It ended Newcastle 1 Arsenal 2.
United taking a first half lead when a well worked corner routine led to Gordon feeding Tonali to cross, a great Nick Woltemade header giving Raya no chance.
Nick Pope making some outstanding saves, especially in the first half.
The Newcastle United team all giving it everything, defending for their lives in the second half as the clock counted down.
It wasn’t to be though, as with six minutes remaining it was sub Merino heading in via the post, the Gabriel with the winner six minutes into added time.
Looking at the individuals in black and white, interesting to get an independent perspective on how this played out.
