In a season of ups and downs, one constant remains at Roma: Wesley.
The Brazilian full-back, signed this summer from Flamengo, quickly rose through Gian Piero Gasperini’s ranks, becoming a key player in the squad.
His performances haven’t gone unnoticed across the Channel; according to a report by British portal TeamTalk, the Premier League giants have already sent their scouts to Trigoria.
Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are among the frontrunners, having been monitoring the 2003-born player’s development for several months.
In addition to the big clubs, Newcastle and Everton have also reportedly inquired, confirming that the player is currently one of the Giallorossi’s most sought-after players.
Roma’s position is firm: Wesley is unsellable this winter. Gasperini can’t afford to lose one of his best players midway through the season, especially with European goals still up for grabs.
