Newcastle, Brighton and Tottenham are competing to sign Stade de Reims goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen, with the 20-year-old attracting Premier League interest this summer.
According to L'Équipe, Reims would seek between 15 and 20 million euros. As the campaign nears its end, Jaouen looks set to be a key name in a relatively narrow goalkeeping market.
He was decisive at Le Mans last Saturday in a 1-1 draw. At two metres tall, explosive on his line and strong with long distribution, his profile suits the English game.
The trio have already moved. Newcastle would like him to compete with Nick Pope, 34, while Brighton view him as an option if Bart Verbruggen leaves, having tracked his progress for a long time. Tottenham could also make contact with Reims.
Despite a recent extension to June 2029, Reims expect Jaouen could depart this summer.
The Under-21 international has 15 clean sheets in Ligue 2. He is among five nominees for goalkeeper of the season and is a serious candidate for the UNFP team of the year.
