According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle United are the latest club to express an interest in signing Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitiké (23). The Frenchman is attracting interest from several clubs in the Premier League ahead of a potential transfer this summer.

After an impressive season in the Bundesliga, Ekitiké has attracted multiple suitors in the English top flight. Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea have all expressed an initial interest in signing the 23-year-old during the summer transfer window. With no move yet to materialise, the Magpies are the fourth English club to show interest.

Saudi interest exists

Premier League clubs are not the only ones showing an interest in the former France U21 international. Two Saudi Pro League clubs, Al Hilal and Al Qadisah, have also made contact over a potential move in recent weeks, but the forward is prioritising a move to the Premier League.
