Newcastle United striker Yoshinori Muto hopes to stay with Eibar next season and beyond.
The Evening Chronicle says Muto is ready to bring his Newcastle nightmare to an end this summer - if La Liga side Eibar are prepared to meet the Magpies' asking price.
Eibar must also dig their way out of relegation trouble in La Liga with the Basque Country side currently third-bottom of the table and tussling with Elche and Valldolid to avoid being pulled into the Segunda Division along with doomed Alaves and Huesca below them.
The Japan international was loaned out to Spain this season after being told he would not get regular game-time under Steve Bruce.
Muto has only netted three goals for Eibar, with two of them coming in the Copa Del Rey, but after being involved in 27 squads this season the striker is enjoying life in Spain.
