Last summer, Paris Saint-Germain showed interest in Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, but a deal never went through. However, a recent report indicates the Ligue 1 club is still eager to sign the Nigerian forward.

Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano recently reported via Viva El Fútbol that PSG’s interest in Lookman remains strong. The player is now weighing his future and could make a move this summer. Yet, there’s stiff competition for his signature, with Juventus also in the mix.

According to GIVE ME SPORT, Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur have been monitoring the 27-year-old closely over the past year, with scouts from all four clubs keeping tabs on him recently.

TEAMtalk previously reported that West Ham United are among several clubs monitoring the Atalanta winger. With multiple Premier League teams considering a move for Lookman, Atalanta are reportedly asking for more than £60 million.

On Friday, Football Insider reported, citing sources, that Newcastle United could sign Lookman in the summer transfer window. Moreover, the reporting reveals that the 27-year-old would “definitely fit in” at St James’s Park if he made the move.

Newcastle are looking to strengthen their attack for next season, especially with Callum Wilson’s contract set to expire at the end of this campaign.

The club’s top priority is to sign a right winger, per Football Insider. Although Ademola Lookman primarily plays on the left, his versatility allows him to switch sides when needed.

Lookman can also play as a No. 9, making him an attractive option for Eddie Howe, who would gain plenty of flexibility with him in the squad.
