Newcastle United ended their four-game winless run by cruising past Leicester City 4-0 at St James’ Park on Saturday.
The Magpies produced a rampant attacking display, with goals from Jacob Murphy (2), Bruno Guimaraes and Alexander Isak.
Newcastle will look to continue their momentum when they host Brentford in the Carabao Cup quarter-final on Wednesday.
Eddie Howe’s side have been unconvincing this season, but they looked to have regained their confidence against Leicester.
Lewis Miley hasn’t played for the club since featuring as a substitute against Chelsea on October 30.
However, according to The Athletic’s Chris Waugh, the 18-year-old could return to the squad in Wednesday’s home match.
Howe is a huge admirer of the youngster, as the English boss believes he has ‘immense potential’.
Miley is also likely to travel with the team to Ipswich Town at the weekend, with Joelinton banned for the Premier League clash.
The midfielder is one of the finest talents to emerge from the Magpies’ academy.
Miley picked up a back injury last season before sustaining a foot problem during the summer.
Fitness issues mean he hasn’t played once in the Premier League this season.
However, fans could see him in action soon, as he has fully recovered from his injury.
