PSG sold Xavi Simons to RB Leipzig earlier this year, and the Dutch midfielder has since attracted interest from several Premier League clubs—including Tottenham Hotspur.
As previously reported by Fabrizio Romano, Leipzig paid €80 million for Simons, with €55 million paid up front. The 21-year-old signed a contract through June 2027, and the deal includes a sell-on clause in favor of PSG.
With the summer transfer window approaching, speculation around Simons’ future is building. According to recent report from CaughtOffside, Manchester United may now be leading the race to sign him,.
Meanwhile, Fichajes reported that Tottenham are looking to reinforce their squad ahead of a Champions League return, naming Simons as one of three key targets. The outlet even claims the club is “dreaming” of landing the Dutch international, which could lead to a notable windfall for PSG if a transfer materializes.

On Friday, Fichajes reported that Newcastle United are determined to make Simons a key part of their plans for next season. The Premier League club is reportedly preparing an offer of around €70 million to sign the talented Dutch midfielder.
This news comes after Bild reported that RB Leipzig signed Simons from PSG for €50 million in January and aim to make a €20 million profit on the deal.
Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Arsenal are all monitoring the 22-year-old closely after he tallied 11 goals and eight assists in 33 appearances last season.
