Newcastle United star believes ‘we can beat anyone in any game’
Newcastle United secured a crucial 4-0 Champions League victory against Union Saint-Gilloise in Brussels.
England international Anthony Gordon played a key role, converting two penalties during the impressive win.
The result significantly boosted Newcastle's qualification hopes after a period of inconsistent form, having won only two of their previous eight games.
Gordon expressed strong confidence in his team, stating they "can be anything we want to be" and are capable of beating any opponent, adding: “We can beat anyone in any game”.
He also defended teammate Nick Woltemade, who scored the opening goal, against critical comments from Bayern Munich executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, and asserted his claim over penalty duties.
