Newcastle United ‘table’ £30.2m bid for Sunderland-linked Victor Muñoz | OneFootball

Newcastle United have reportedly lodged a sizeable offer for Sunderland-linked winger Victor Muñoz, raising the prospect of a cross-river transfer tussle.

El Chiringuito TV reports the Magpies have bid around £30.2 million plus add-ons for the 22-year-old, and that the player is said to be very interested. The report adds his release clause stands at £34.6 million.

Rudy Galetti reports that Sunderland are among several clubs tracking Örgryte IS defender Michael Parker, alongside Newcastle, Brentford, FC Copenhagen, Eintracht Frankfurt, Sturm Graz, Red Bull Salzburg and Sporting CP. The 21-year-old could be available for £2.6 million to £4.3 million this summer.

Parker joined the Swedish side from West Brom in February and can operate at centre-back or on the left.

Spanish journalist Joel Mendez says Sevilla’s Chidera Ejuke is drawing interest from Sunderland, Fulham and Leeds United, while Bayer Leverkusen are monitoring from Germany. Any deal for the 28-year-old winger could cost about £3.5 million, with his contract entering its final year.
