Magpies looking to arrest slide against in-form Man City
Pep Guardiola’s side go into the game four points adrift of leaders Arsenal in the table, and they make the trip to St James’ Park to face a Newcastle side that are underperforming this season.
Eddie Howe’s Magpies are 14th after 11 games, winning three and losing five - including two at home against Liverpool and the Gunners.
This leaves Newcastle seven points off the top four, and come into this fixture off the back of successive defeats against West Ham and Brentford.
City, meanwhile, will be buoyed after their convincing 3-0 win over the champions Liverpool to backup a 3-1 victory against Bournemouth.
Newcastle vs Man City is scheduled for a 5.30pm GMT kick-off today, Saturday, November 22, 2025.
The match will take place at St James’ Park.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on Sky Sports. Coverage starts at 5pm GMT on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra HDR ahead of the 5.30pm kick-off.
Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Sky Go app and website.

New signing Yoane Wissa is still waiting for his debut after an injury-ridden start to life in the north-east. He will miss the visit of Man City and Dan Burn is suspended for this game after his red card against Brentford.
Valentino Livramento, a transfer target for Man City, could also be back in the fold alongside Joelinton but William Osula has been ruled out.
As for the visitors, it is the same pool of players to choose from once again as Rodri will not feature as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Mateo Kovacic is out until the new year after surgery on his ankle.

Man City are in form, Newcastle are not, but the form book usually goes out of the window in these kinds of games.
The Gallowgate End will be at full voice looking to roar on the Toon, and, if their star players return to the side, it could be a thrilling encounter.
Should the home side’s lack of quality depth get exposed, however, then City could run out comfortable victors.
