Pereira favourite to become Forest's fourth manager of season

Vitor Pereira is the favourite to become Nottingham Forest's fourth manager of the 2025/26 season after the Premier League club sacked Sean Dyche.

Dyche follows Ange Postecoglou and Nuno Espirito Santo, who were dismissed by Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis earlier this season, out of the City Ground.

Pereira, who is 4/11 on the Betfair Sportsbook to get the Forest job, previously worked for Marinakis at Olympiakos.

The Portuguese, who left Wolves earlier this season, was reported to be in talks with the east Midlands club on Thursday morning.

Thomas Frank, who was sacked by Tottenham yesterday, is 5/1 second favourite, if he wants a swift return to management.

Dyche's sacking followed Wednesday evening's 0-0 draw against Wolves at the City Ground in a game in which the hosts had an incredible 35 shots at goal without finding the back of the net. The result left Forest 17th in the Premier League table and 11/4 for relegation.
