Next NRW Showdown! BVB to Play Another Friendly Match | OneFootball

Fortuna has organized a big family festival around the match; stadium doors open at 11:30 The visitors’ section will be open for BVB fans. This promises an exciting atmosphere as head coach Niko Kovac’s team takes on its second friendly of the summer.

Be there and join the team at the Merkur-Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf! Tickets will be available starting Wednesday (8 July, 12:00) in the online ticket shop, initially for club members only. Up to four tickets are available per person. On Thursday (9 July, 12:00), general ticket sales for the visitors’ section will begin; here, too, up to four tickets are available per person.

Seated tickets cost 22 euros, while standing tickets are available for as little as 13.20 euros.

Anyone who can’t attend in person can watch the game on Sky.

The Other Friendly Matches

With the away match at Fortuna Düsseldorf, Borussia Dortmund has further expanded its preseason schedule. BVB will play its first preseason match in preparation for the 2026/27 season on 18 July against Rot-Weiß Oberhausen. 

During the BVB Evonik Japan Tour, two friendlies are scheduled against Cerezo Osaka (29 July) and FC Tokyo (1 August). One week later (9 August, 2:00 GMT/3:00 CEST), the team will face the new English champions, FC Arsenal, in a preseason match. To kick off the season on 15 August, AS Roma will be the visiting team at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK..
