An unresolved transfer problem at FC Bayern could come to a head in the summer. Sacha Boey’s permanent return to Galatasaray Istanbul has long been considered likely, but new doubts are now growing
As Sabah Spor reports, Galatasaray are looking closely at Zeki Celik from AS Roma. The Turkish international would be significantly cheaper than Boey due to his expiring contract – and could solve several problems for the Turkish champions at once
This would be an unpleasant development for Bayern. After all, Galatasaray have a fixed purchase option of 15 million euros on Boey. It is precisely this sum that the Munich club apparently want to continue to insist on

BILD reporter Julian Agardi recently made it clear that the record champions do not want to accept a cheap solution for Boey. „Bayern are not interested in selling him completely below value,“ explained the insider. Galatasaray would have to pay the agreed €15 million if they wanted to sign the right-back permanently
Boey himself moved to Munich from Istanbul for a lot of money in January 2024. However, the Frenchman was never really able to establish himself at FC Bayern. Injuries, a lack of rhythm and strong competition prevented a lasting breakthrough
After just 38 competitive appearances, he returned to Galatasaray last summer
FC Bayern are no longer planning with the 25-year-old. With Konrad Laimer and Josip Stanisic, Munich already have two options on the right side of defence. FCB could also make further additions to the right-back position in the summer.
