Serie A side Roma are currently sticking with manager Ivan Juric but the Croatian might have just two games to save his job.
The Giallorossi lost to Verona at the weekend and this led to reports suggesting that Juric’s job was uncertain and names were linked with the club.
La Gazzetta dello Sport confirm that for now, Juric’s job is safe but the patience is not going last long. The Friedkins have met in Paris in the last few days and flew to the island of Crete today and have explored various options for a possible replacement but in the end have decided not to change, at least for now.
The Friedkins have reiterated that they are not happy with the current results and will be monitoring the situation very carefully from now until Sunday evening. That is why the game against Union SG and Bologna will be very vital for Juric.
Florent Ghisolfi has also been spoken to by the Friedkins, who have iterated their support for the manager as well. While they did make an enquiry for Roberto Mancini and Paulo Sousa, no contact has been made for either Frank Lampard or Claudio Ranieri, who were also the names linked with the role.
