Neymar and Gabigol return as Santos name XI to face Atlético-MG | OneFootball

Santos have named their side to face Atlético-MG at Vila Belmiro at 20:00 in the 11th round of the Brasileiro.

According to Diario Do Peixe, Cuca starts Gabriel Brazão in goal, a back four of Igor Vinícius, Lucas Veríssimo, Luan Peres and Escobar, midfield of Willian Arão, Gustavo Henrique and Gabriel Bontempo with Neymar, and a front two of Rony and Gabigol.

The bench includes Diógenes and João Pedro, Adonis Frías, Rafa Gonzaga, Schmidt, Zé Rafael, Christian Oliva, Miguelito, Rollheiser, Robinho Jr, Thaciano, Lautaro Diaz and Moisés.

The headline returns are Miguelito, back from muscle fatigue, Neymar after load management, and Gabriel Barbosa following a PRP procedure. Out are right-back Mayke as he recovers from a PRP treatment with corticosteroid in his knee, midfielder Gabriel Menino with a right hamstring injury, and Barreal who is suspended after his third yellow card.

Following defeat in their Copa Sudamericana opener in midweek, the club’s two leading players are restored to the XI. Christian Oliva drops to the bench to manage his workload, opening a place for Willian Arão, while Igor Vinícius and Escobar also return at full back.
