Neymar calf worry for Brazil as Pedro among standby options | OneFootball

Brazil are on alert after Neymar sustained a calf problem that is expected to see him miss the start of the national team’s World Cup preparations. He is a doubt for the 31 May friendly against Panama.

On Sunday 17, during Santos’ 3-0 defeat to Coritiba at the Neo Química Arena, he left the pitch in pain. Scans showed a moderate oedema in his right calf and a reasonable recovery period has been advised.
