Neymar was involved in a heated row with Remo officials in the Mangueirão access area after Santos' 1-0 win that sealed a Copa do Brasil quarter-final place. According to Globo.com, footage shows the No 10 confronting members of the Remo delegation moments after the final whistle.

The first leg ended in a draw at Vila Belmiro, and Tuesday's 1-0 victory at Mangueirão sent Santos through.

The cause of the confrontation is unclear. Amid shouts and insults, Neymar reacted to provocations, gestured towards officials and at one point used an expletive.

The exchange quickly drew the attention of players and staff from both clubs as people tried to work out what was happening in the inner corridors. Gabigol is seen watching from a distance, appearing surprised by the flare-up.

Remo supporters and officials were seen toppling barriers near the area, heightening tensions, while Santos security tried to calm the situation at the dressing-room entrance. After the match, Neymar also taunted home fans by repeating "Eliminado".
