According to Globo.com, wearing a Santos shirt, Mavie tried to help apply analgesic ointment and played with a rope during drills, and Neymar also took time to splash with her in the pool.

In another moment, she teamed up with the gardening staff to hand her father a flower pot, which prompted laughter nearby.

Neymar has begun his transition back to the pitch and has completed an initial ball session, with no physical contact with team-mates.

He is recovering from a type two B muscle injury to the right rectus femoris, and despite starting field work he is not expected to be available for the clássico against São Paulo at 20:00 next Friday in the Brasileirão.

The coaching staff intend not to rush the process so he can be available for more matches in the run-in.
