It has been a long road back but Neymar’s injury ordeal is finally over.
The Brazil international spent over a year on the sidelines with a knee injury picked up during a World Cup qualifier with Uruguay.
But after 369 days, Neymar made his comeback in Al-Hilal’s Asian Champions League encounter with Al-Ain on Monday.
His 77th-minute introduction came just minutes after the Saudi Pro League side had taken a 5-3 lead in the United Arab Emirates.
But Al-Hilal were soon reduced to ten men as Ali Al-Bulayhi received a straight red card while their hosts narrowed their deficit deep in added time.
