Neymar, Santos' No 10, sat out Thursday's on-field tactical session at CT Rei Pelé with mild muscle fatigue. He is not currently viewed as a concern for Tuesday 10 March away to Mirassol in the fifth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

According to Globo.com, he underwent load management at the training ground to aid recovery and was kept out of the tactical work to avoid aggravating the discomfort. The report adds that he has no injury.

He has played three matches this season, completing two and featuring for one half in his comeback after surgery on the meniscus in his left knee.

The coming training sessions will determine whether he can start on Tuesday as initially planned.

Santos also face Corinthians on 15 March at Vila Belmiro. He aims to return to the Brazil squad as soon as possible to play at the World Cup, and the next call-up is on 16 March.
