Neymar Pai and Daniel Vorcaro ‘discussed’ Banco Master sponsorship for Santos | OneFootball

Neymar Pai and banker Daniel Vorcaro are said to have discussed a possible Banco Master sponsorship for Santos in February last year, brokered by advertising executive Thiago Miranda, Carta Capital reports.

Documents cited in the report state that on 5 February 2025, Miranda sent Vorcaro a proposal for three kit placements worth R$ 15 million. Vorcaro has been in custody for six months, accused of leading a criminal organisation behind billion-scale financial market frauds.

As part of talks over Neymar’s return to Santos, the club and the player would split revenue from sponsorships closed after his signing, such as deals with EQR Capital and Loovi Seguros.

Earlier this year, NR Sports paid Monaco to settle the fee for Jean Lucas and lift FIFA’s transfer ban, in exchange for rights to seven kit properties.

Messages from a Federal Police operation into Banco Master, cited in the report, show that on 6 February last year Miranda told Vorcaro that Neymar Pai wanted an in-person meeting, possibly with Neymar present. The investigation does not establish whether the meeting took place, and Banco Master has never sponsored Santos.
