Neymar posts poker photos, says life is a joke | OneFootball

On the same night Santos routed Universidad Central da Venezuela in the Sul-Americana play-offs, Neymar attended a poker tournament in São Paulo and shared photos. The player said in a post that life is a joke, then added on Instagram not to take life too seriously.

Images showed him relaxed at the tables against other players. He did not feature for Santos that night.

He was among the attractions at BSOP Winter, the fourth stage of the 2026 season of Brazil’s poker championship, held at the Golden Hall of the WTC Complex and due to run until 30 July.

It is his second appearance at this stage. In 2025, from 346 entrants, he finished 29th and earned R$ 53,500.

Santos have preserved him from the trip to Venezuela for physical reasons. He is following a training schedule at the club’s training centre as he works toward playing on Saturday at 18:30 Brasília time against Chapecoense at Vila Belmiro, the opening of the second half of the Brasileirão.
